Includes troubleshooting, system inspection, and filing for manufacture’s RMA replacement for any defective equipment.
1.) System Inspection:
○ Inspect solar panels, wiring, and components for damage or wear.
○ Review system history and reported concerns.
2.) Testing & Diagnostics:
○ Measure electrical output, check inverters, controllers, and breakers for faults.
○ Diagnose performance issues such as shading or equipment malfunctions.
○ Provide a recommendation to resolve.
○ If an RMA is required a 2nd trip charge and any additional labor will apply.
3.) Repair, Final Testing, & Reporting:
○ RMA/repair is performed.
○ Final system check and recommissioning of system.
This service ensures your solar system is functioning efficiently and highlights any necessary repairs or equipment replacement needed to resolve the issue.
Removal/Reinstall.
This service involves removing and reinstalling your solar power system to accommodate a new roof, with steps to ensure minimal disruption and coordination with the roofing crew.
1.) System Inspection, Shutdown, & Disconnection:
○ Check fuses, breakers, strings/branch circuits, junction boxes, inverters, and panels.
○ Safely disconnect the system from the grid and electrical panel.
2.) Removal of Solar System:
○ Remove solar panels, racking, and wiring, storing components for reinstallation.
○ Rooftop junction boxes will remain in place for the roofers to flash.
○ Remove fasteners from mounting feet, leaving them in place to be easily removed with the shingles during roof tear-off.
○ Buyer agrees to store their solar equipment onsite while the roof is being done.
3.) Reinstallation of Solar System (Shingle/Metal/TPO):
○ Roofing permit passes final inspection then the reinstallation can be scheduled.
○ New roof attachments are used upon reinstallation.
○ Reinstall panels, racking, and wiring on the new roof and reconnect to the grid.
4.) Reinstallation of Solar System (Tile):
○ The peel & stick is installed, lines are snapped for the tiles, we install our roof attachments.
○ New roof attachments are used upon reinstallation.
○ Roofer will use a 2" hole saw to cut the tiles and slide the flashings over the roof attachments.
○ We will return when the roofing permit is final and reinstall the balance of system.
5.) System Testing & Re-Commissioning:
○ Test the system to ensure proper operation and electricity production.
○ Final system check and recommissioning of system.

Florida Power Services agrees to act as the authorized agent on buyer's behalf (listed below) for the type of service (listed below). The service scope is listed on page 2.
The service will be carried out in an orderly fashion and be completed as our schedule and construction phases allow. Terms and Conditions are listed on page 6.
Buyer agrees to assist as called for on page 2 and follow the payment schedule in a timely manner until paid in full. Payment options are listed on page 5.

Warranty
Service Call - 1 year against installation defects on the service performed.
Removal/Reinstall - On systems installed by others 3 years from the signing of this agreement against installation defects on the roof attachments. On systems installed by Florida Power Services original installation warranty remains intact.
Disclaimers
The pricing listed in this proposal is valid for 30 days after which time Florida Power Services may be eligible to update pricing.
Acts of god, workmanship defects by others, damage by others, installations not performed by Florida Power Services, WiFi coverage issues, bandwidth capacity, internet changes (new routers, new service providers), power surges, tripped breakers, blown fuses, manufactures defects, utility net metering issues, increased utility consumption are not covered by any warranty whatsoever.
Existing roof issues and/or roof age are not considered installation defects. Manufactures warranties are held by each respective manufacture and are separate from Florida Power Services installation warranty. We stand behind our clients with support in the unlikely event of an issue.
Buyer responsible for internet service and IT equipment necessary to monitor system performance.
Price does not include removal of hazardous waste or materials.
If you have a railless racking system, upon removal our installers will notify you and a quote will be provided for a new rail based racking system. Rail based systems provide superior grounding, wire management, and wind resistance. We do not re-install railless systems.
If conditions are encountered on the site which are subsurface or otherwise concealed physical conditions which differ materially from those contemplated, or physical conditions of an unusual nature are encountered and cause a furtherance to the Contractor in time or materials, the Contractor will be entitled to an equitable adjustment in the contract price, an extension of the completion date, or both, by Change Order. Furthermore, the Contractor will not be held responsible for any damage to the following: Underground Sprinkler Heads - Underground Irrigation Piping - Television Cable - Phone Cable – Low Voltage Cable, Cesspools/Septic Tanks or any buried utilities and/or devices not installed in accordance with local building codes or common practices.
Clauses
Mandatory Arbitration Clause All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement are to be settled by binding arbitration in the state of Florida. This is advantageous to both parties in the UNLIKELY event of an issue. Arbitration is preferred over litigation due to its streamlined cost- effectiveness process and has many advantages to litigation because it is less expensive, less disruptive, and more flexible. Florida Power Services has been in business since 2007 with ZERO lawsuits and no arbitrations.
Breach of Contract Clause A breach of contract is considered to have occurred when one party has acted in a manner inconsistent with this agreement. In the event that a breach of contract were to occur, the breaching party may not take any legal action against the non-breaching party. Florida Power Services has been in business since 2007 with over 2,900 successfully fulfilled contracts with no breaches.
Damages Clause In the event the buyer is found to be in breach of this agreement the buyer shall be responsible for damages payments to Florida Power Services Inc. including restocking fees for equipment, shipping, handling, engineering costs, permitting costs, administrative costs, and lost revenue. These costs will be calculated as 35% of the signed agreement amount.
Prevailing Party Attorneys Fees Clause In the event of arbitration or proceeding arising as a result of the breach of this Agreement or the failure to perform hereunder, the party or parties prevailing in such arbitration or proceeding shall be entitled to collect the costs and expenses of bringing or defending such arbitration or proceeding, including reasonable attorneys' fees, from the party or parties not prevailing.
